MTV.com Community Beta Launch
As promised months ago when we flipped the site from a short-lived Flash experience back to an HTML platform, we’ve been constantly working on new MTV.com features and improvements. The smaller stuff has been rolling out quite regularly, but now we’re ready to test something a bit bigger.
Today we took the first step towards implementing community features with the launch of beta.mtv.com. Admittedly, it’s a baby step: mostly it’s commenting and the ability to rate content (video, photo, articles). But creating the back end for this lays the foundation for other features that comprise most online communities (user profiles, customization, messaging, etc.) that we will unveil in the coming months.
We have also made it possible for you to snag our music video clips and post them to your MySpace page or blog. The video embed codes sit to the left of our music videos.
Because we want to get it right before going public, we’ve got the beta launch. We invited people who previously registered with MTV.com to take part and asked them to invite their friends. But you’re not left out, either. Interested MTV Labs users are invited to join in, too, by clicking here.
So, please, kick the tires a bit for us. Rate music videos new and old, sound off on a news article and engage other beta testers in conversation. And let us know the good and the bad of how it’s working by leaving a comment here.

NOT 4 nothing but i think tila was better off with dani 2 me she made a better connection with dani then with bobby. and to honest i dont think bobby was there 4 her i think he was there just to get his little 5 minutes of fame. and besides the point his mother didnt even like tila when she went nad meet his family. now danis family on the other hand love tila and they opened there arms and accepted tila for who she is and didint juge her bcause she is bisexual so that rigth there should just tell tila something about bobbys family. anyway i just wish tila should of pick dani and not bobby.

Why is the stupid show on all day on MTV? I don’t think this show is a good example for MTV. Why would you show a lesbian heterosexual reality show. I hope that it will never come back on. If it do it needs to be on MTV 2, rather then the regular station.

Hey..I wrote a very emotional reply expressing my horror concerning Tila’s actions last night…where in the H**L is it? I am pissed off & I want to see my reply up there. I agree with the rest of the 99% of replies. Tila I believe ..is sucking up camera time…Dani can sing as well as you. She has much more class & I am a very str8t 53 year old gal.. married for 31 years but I call it as I see it. You put Dani through hell when it came to how the show ended. Shame on you Tila!! Why didn’t you just kick her while she was down! You left her standing up there beside you both as you TILA..embraced Bobby which seemed like en eternity. my name is Elizabeth, i am one of Dani’s BIGGEST fans from the Tila Tequila Show. I think Dani Should be given her own show to find love because i do NOT think it was fair to Dani that Tila tells her she loves her on their last date together, and then chooses Bobby over her when she never told him anything like that, along with she did not apologize for her behavior when letting Dani go without saying good-bye until she realized Dani had already walked away broken hearted. It almost seemed like Tila did not care how Dani felt when she chose Bobby to be with in the end.

Dani Deserves to have her own show to find her true love because Tila did her Dirty!!! It was wrong of Tila to tell Dani she loved her then choose Bobby in the end. Its not right to tell somebody u love them if u dnt really mean it 100% or even if ur not in love with them. Yes Dani loved Tila but she deserves better. This was a disapointment to me. To All You Dani Lovers…If you had been watching the show and listening to what Tila had to say, and I quote, “I’m used to being with Lipstick Lesbians”, then you would have known that she was going to pick Bobbi. Hi i just have one question about a songname for a song played in a Pimp My Ride episode from Season 4 in Episode 7 when the guy sees the MTX Jackhammer in the car there is a “sort of” techno song and i have tried searching the internet and googled it ALOT and i can’t find it so i figure you guys maybe have some sort of list of what songs you have used and in what shows and so on.. i would be truly eternally thankful if someone could help me with this it is really annoying because i usually find everything easy in the most cases but not now.

After i saw the finale of ” A shot at love with Tila”, i thought it would be a good idea to have a show to help find Dani her true love, seeing that her heart was broke into a million pieces!I think Dani is a really good person and deserves a Wonderful girl and to be able to find her true love. I loved the show it was different than a lot of the other shows out there it felt like alot of the people were really there for Tila and not just to be famous. I was surprised that she picked Bobby, but I still was happy to know that Tila wanted to take her shot at love with Bobby because he seemed like the prefect guy for her. Danni was great; she made the show fun to watch. Danni, I know there is someone out there for you somewhere there is someone that will also give you the chance to take a shot at love with them. Remember patience’s is a virtue and waiting is always that much better in the long run. Hang in there Danni, and for the new couple be happy always.

As I sit here and watch singer Mario’s show “I Won’t Love You To Death,” I cannot help but cry. I too am dealing with a loved one who has just come out wit an addiction of their own, and I’m still trying to understand the “How’s & Why’s” of what they are doing to themselves. I can’t begin to understand addiction. I searched the internet to find some sort of way to contact him & let him know the impact seeing his show had an me, but this was the closest i could come. Again, I’m sure there are many critics out there that will bad mouth him for airing it, but I know I speak for many when I say that his story has touched me to the core…thank you.
