Britney’s performance may not have been up to par, but MTV’s biggest mistake was allowing Sarah Silverman to “host.” Her brand of humor is nothing short of baseless and unintelligent. Her idiotic girly giggle and mean-spirited comments directed at CHILDREN is appalling. I can’t believe MTV has brought her back. It set the tone for the entire VMAs, CRAPPY. Having Sarah Silverman on their show was OFFENSIVE. MTV needs to rethink such an action in the future. Sarah Silverman’s comments that evening were revolting.
I truly hope Viacom will consider dropping someone as cruel as Sarah Silverman from any of the shows/networks they own. There is no excuse for name-calling when it comes to innocent children. How will those children feel when they one day see that clip of Sarah’s comments about them? Please drop Sarah Silverman from MTV. She has upset mothers, parents, compassionate human beings across this great nation of ours.

The VMA’s and the Movie Awards need tp gp back to original traditions w/ the parodies. That’s what MADE the award shows. Once you guys took that away it became just like any other award show. Since the parodies have stopped it’s kinda pointless to watch now. Palms was a good idea for the people at the event but for us at home, it kinda sucked. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE! Go back to the basics with the parodies. You can’t go wrong with that. I guarentee it.
