Every time I turn on MTV, it’s some ridiculous reality show. Doesn’t MTV stand for MUSIC TELEVISION??? I remember back in the early 80s when MTV first came out…it was HOT!!! Cool videos, televised concerts, behind the scenes…and more! Now…it seems MTV is just a breeding ground for poor, wanna-be teen reality shows that don’t even portray actual reality. Get your priorities straight!!!

okay- i just saw the boys like girls video, Great Escape, which was cheesy enough to get sick. but besides that i’m shocked by one of the lyrics.. “let’s get drunk and ride around”. WHAT THE??!! MTV- you should be ashamed that you’re airing such a song. way to promote drinking and driving, after all what a better way to spend a summer evening than getting together with your friends, getting drunk, going for a ride and killing a family of four. classy.

Heiii i know im not commenting the right place but OMG! MTV what is going on woth you guys….im talking about newport harbor c’mon nothign is going to compare to Laguna Beach i know w/e u gys have to bring something new but you should have at least change the song and made it a little more original and maybe i would have seen the program but i meann those people look so fake they are just trying to make it like Laguna Beach kids and i dont buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey. i am not trying to diss on MTV or anything but something about that show really bugs me. Okay the reality shows are over played…okay the reality shows are all based on the same thing…but there’s something that’s not okay. In all those reality shows…the stereotypical blonde or brunette is shown…what happened to the hispanics in Real World? Why does it always have to be the crazy Jennifer, the lazy Bridget, or the confused Jessica. Seriously…they should make the reality shows more diverse with different backgrounds…such as Latinos. I have no problem with white people, black people, etc. But c’mon now

please show room 401 more often. I like millions of your fans cannot get enough of room 401. PLEASE stick to your TV schedule times for showing 401, sometimes I wait for it to come on and something else takes its place. Tues. only? not enough! PLEASE do aa room 401 marathon soon as possible. It is the best show on TV and MTV!!! Your greatest room 401 fans at the dorm! PLEASE ADVISE11

Natasha has a good point. Newport /OC reality shows they focus unfortunately on rich kids from one main background. It is not Ok, when the majority of the viewers come from different ones. The first show might have gotten the attention of pure curiosity. Now, it literally feels pushed down our throats to accept this as beautiful or cool….and its a shallow perspective. drop this show. how many viewers need to feel this way in order for your network to change?

ATTENTION MTV: I am having problems with a part of the site and can’t for the life of me find a help or contact section! I want to log into the HILLS, and enter the sweepstakes and also view more content but I either get a loading screen which spins indefinitly, or an error that I “am not permitted to access…” I hope you read this, and if anyone else is having probs with the site leave a comment. Also if you know the contact for MTV support pls let me know. Thanks

Why does every show have to run 7 to 8 minutes late. It really is frustrating when trying to tivo shows and missing the end. It is ridiculous that you can’t solve this problem. Cut a video show by 2 videos or something. Anywhere else a program director would be fired. So fix the problem or your FIRED!!

I can’t believe what has happened to MTV over the years, it went from MUSIC TV to TRASH TV. Nothing really about music anymore!! Does anyone care about someone sweet 16th birthday???? A music station with a bunch of reality shows??? What does that have to do with music???? What happened to MTV Unplugged??? What happened to any music??? Stand up to your name, or change it from MTV to TRASH TV, because there is no music anymore!! Get off cable tv, your a waste of a channel.

i can’t seem to find the article anywhere, that tells about how ozomatli were hired, by the same government they criticise- to go to the middle east as “cultural ambassadors” and connect with the people. i know mtv is up on everything, so i know you’d love to bring a positive and hopeful story to your viewers, and readers.
i also can’t seem to find an easy link on this site- to ask someone more appropriate for this question.
it’s a big deal to get to do what ozomatli did this summer. maybe you did a news piece/video on it that i can’t find?
i hope you can get back to me, i’m eager to read the story.
