The other day I spent 3 HOURS working on a video in which I put together for the “peace of me” contest for Britney Spears. Today I was completely in disgust to find out that it was deleted. I would like to know WHAT HAPPEN TO MY VIDEO!?!

Does anyone know how long it takes between submitting the video and it showing up online or in your remixed videos section? I am afraid I just spent 4 hours on a video for Piece of Me….for nothing. It is not showing up. I made is last night and submitted it around 1:30am.

I hate being a complainer, but something gets screwed up with my preview window.. Its like the first clip on my timeline freezes for 2 sec and screws up the vid to where It’s out of sync with the music. I’ve tried to fix this about I don’t know how many times and each time it plays differently. Such a shame. I spent 6 hours on the first half of the song and put my heart out into it. I’ve been making vids for a long time now and you guys would have had a well put together vid to watch on Mrs. Spears. Oh well, I’ll stick to my Sony Vegas.

MTV!! WHAT’S UP WITH ALL THE TECHNICAL PROBLEMS? HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO SHOWCASE OUR TALENTS AND SUBMIT A VIDEO INTO THIS “CONTEST” WHEN THE SOFTWARE CAN’T EVEN PERFORM? TONS OF FREEZING. I CAN’T EVEN TELL IF MY VIDEO’S IN SYNC (WHICH IS THE WHOLE POINT ). SOMEONE ON YOUR END NEEDS TO TAKE A STAND AND RESOLVE THIS. THE WHOLE COMMENT SECTION IS FULL OF PEOPLE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEMS AS I AM, SO IT SHOULD BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY. LIKE OTHERS, I HAVE SPENT ENDLESS HOURS ON MY VIDEO FOR NOTHING
EVERY TIME I “REVIEW” IT, THE CLIPS ARE EITHER TOO FAST OR SLOW, WHICH MAKES IT FRUSTRATING AND POINTLESS NOT KNOWING WHAT YOUR FINAL VIDEO’S REALLY GOING TO LOOK LIKE. I’M HALFWAY THROUGH MY VIDEO, AND EVERY TIME I ADD A NEW CLIP, I HAVE TO “REVIEW” IT AND WATCH THE WHOLE VIDEO AND IT STILL IS OFF SYNC. I DON’T KNOW WHY WE’RE NOT ALLOWED TO USE OUR OWN SOFTWARE AND OWN VIDEO CLIPS OF BRITNEY. AFTERALL, ISN’T THIS ALL ABOUT CREATIVITY AND ORIGINALITY? ALL THE VIDEOS START TO LOOK THE SAME SINCE WE’RE ALL USING THE SAME CLIPS OVER AND OVER. I THINK THE PROBLEM NEEDS TO BE FIXED ASAP AND/OR THE DEADLINE DELAYED. SORRY, DON’T MEAN TO SOUND LIKE A WHINER, BUT THIS IS RIDICULOUS. THIS SEEMS MORE LIKE A CONTEST OF WHO CAN ACTUALLY GET THE SOFTWARE TO WORK PROPERLY. This Britney contest is great, but a lot of videos are getting messed up. My vid was done yesterday and it’s freezing up or it’s playing the video with no music going. It’s pretty messed up and I spent awhile making it. How is anyone going to win with these problems?

Wow, this contest is really falling apart. The whole contest is pointless if we can’t even produce a video that plays like we intended (in sync). MTV… you need to issue a statement on here explaining the situation and if there’s any hope in actually participating in this contest the way it was intended. How unfair if our videos don’t represent what we spent hours creating. When I started my video, the 1st 30 seconds were flawless, and now the video play much faster than the audio resulting in an off sync video. The lyrics and dance moves don’t match up to the video clips like they initially did. For a true Britney fan like myself and someone who’s done these before using good software, this is such a shame. Then again, you probably don’t even read these comments. Why is there no direct email for major troubleshooting like this? Now my unfinished video freezes, and when it does play, I have no audio. F-R-U-S-T-R-A-T-I-N-G. To be fair for everyone, this contest needs to be started over or a major overhaul on the software. What a shame

What’s most frustrating is that despite hearing others saying they are having the same problem, every other video I try seems to be working.
Now all of the friends I told about my video, can’t even see it.

I agree, it was difficult to make the video exactly the way you wanted to because the sound was often out of sync with the video. I’ve heard and seen people say that their video was seconds ahead or behind the music and that it wasn’t their best effort. I guess you have to do the best with what you have. Good luck all! i share the same frusterations about the syncing problem, i however experienced a major anger moment when i had spent almost 3 hours completing a video and i went to publish, was told to sign in and after i did my entire video was lost. i’ll just watch next time because there was no redirect back to the video i had just completed. sad face

Actually my problem isn’t keeping it in sync… I would just like to have ANY sound at this point!!! MY VIDEO HAS NO SOUND! … and I’ve heard others say the same thing, why can’t they fix that?

How do you freakin delete clips you don’t want to use? this is really not that easy to use or anything…. im spending hours just tryping to clip videos and now i cant delete the left over parts i dont want to use! UGH. help?

What a horrible tool. When published, the sound doesn’t play on Firefox on any of the videos, and the syncing is WAY off. I’m surprised MTV puts this type of system up for the public!

Yeah this Adobe program definitly stinks! My final product plays slower than what it was supposed to be originally. Hey Roya. To delete a whole scene, select the square tile at the bottom of the app for the scene (it will be highlighted in blue when selected) and hit the delete key on your keyboard or drag and drop it onto the bins on the right side of the application. If you just want to trim the end of a clip, use the blue triangles in the same area where you can scrub the video. The triangle next to the scissor button trims the beginning, the triangle next to the word “clip” on the other side trims the end. Its been working for me pretty well.

Hey, I was just trying to create a remix on Safari and it was failing to publish, but when I tried it out in FireFox it worked fine. Weird. Has anyone else had this happen?

The only problem I am finding is that the video starts and is behind. If you restart the video first thing, the video plays through fine. Also, there are times the screen is too light to see some of the pics and a certain part of the video. It is still fun though!

Users should be able to save the video if they are not done with it for another time. I just spent 20 mins working on a part of a video that I couldn’t save for later. Work on adding SAVE features

I made a Britney video and had no problems at all, now I’m working on a paramore one and I can’t get the timing right because it skips, jumps, pauses, repeats, the sound loops or gets stuck… it’s really frustrating - I have no idea what my video is really like as it’s different every time I play it!

My remix is completely off timing because the video starts off beat!! If i restart it is okay, but if not.. its a mess…….
i’ve noticed when I watch other remixes its the same.. has anyone experienced the same thing?
