We love our logo. For real, we wanna take it out for an expensive candlelit dinner… TWO appetizers. Since MTV’s inception in 1981 our brand’s been the subject of countless artist interpretations by some of the world’s most beautifully warped minds. We plan to keep that spirit alive with the new mtv.com and push it to the next level… YOU.
This project is called MTV Hats (Header Art Treatments) and we plan to wear many of them. The works of art to your left are MTV Hats currently in rotation on mtv.com. Calling all artists… we want YOUR MTV.
We’ll be scouring through submissions for the fresh, the fun and most importantly, the FREAK.

As with all things MTV Has done over the years. It pushes the bounds of what we know in to cutting edge technology with a human touch. MTV HATS. Technicians have nothing to do without Artists of all types.
Ive stuck with ya threw all the changes to the site. Reliable quality VOD Has arrived and it was worth the wait. Today im streaming videos off the site to my HDTV at 96k to my sound system. Great job folks. 20 years ago MTV had me rewireing my TV so i could get sound to my stero. Only the technology changes were all still just Uniquely Human.

Dear TV Executive: I believe that your TV shows that you are producing are horrible. You try to make everything sound good (talk to your kids about drugs) but the next show that comes on is a video clip of someone smoking pot.

i just want to aploud the producers and thinkers at TRL- while you have continued to play the new sean kingston song, “Beautiful Girl” , you have taken the thought of editing out lyrics about suicidal thinking. I am a mental health nurse that works with children and teens and am glad to see that the lyrics were edited-teen suicide is a serious issue and does not need to be glamorized in a song. i wish radio stations would do the same. As for your programing–i wish it was more like the old days when you could actually hear music and watch videos on MTV. The station has gone too far to the other extreme with all the shows and so little music. Bring back the video dj’s !!! Thanks

the site looks great. But I have a question to ask and where do I need to send it. The question concerns D.G. from foo fighters actually its about a play of a formar band mate that might interest him. The play is taking place nov. 29th and dec1st at 730 pm Carbondale, Illinois Moe Theater at Southern Illinois University Of Carbondale. You guys (and by you guys I mean all the department heads and people who call the shots) have let down all the viewers who made MTV what it is. I remember in the nineties this was a channel people looked foward to watching because it had some edge to it and you could always see up and coming quality musicians now its just junk, corporate crap. A betrayel of the original idea of MTV, its pretty disgusting. And as for those logos dont even put those type of colors and designs on the M’s thas not MTV anymore. Those colors and designs are from a different time you know nothing about back when MTV had soul and creativity, now just plaster the M’s with dollar signs thats what MTV is now. I know you wont have the balls to post this but hey atleast you read it. Also, if you think there’s very few people who think like me think again….just ask anybody whos over 15 ofcourse. P.S. MTV Sucks!!

Whatever happened to MTV? As a 30 year veteran of the music busines in Radio, I am totally disgusted with your programming in general. You have changed for the worse. Clean up your act and put on programming that is fit to watch. Just because today’s music has gone down the tubes doesn’t mean you have to follow. There are more potential viewers out there besides 12 year olds. Every time I watch MTV, my IQ falls 20 points. Clean up your act!
