Hi,Pimp My Ride I want to know how I can get my dads car on pimp my ride. My dad has this gross little black car. It’s dirty and has cat prints all over it. He never has time to wash it because he goes to work at 5am and is out by 3pm.But, he has to get through traffic. When I need to get picked up from school he embarrasses me. He really needs this he works so hard to get money so we can pay our bills and food but, most of his money goes to his car plz mtv pimp my dads ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!

iight,first of all, GAS does great work,but the show did a little false advertisement, and the whole thing with the jackhammers, wow, what a waste of material. I noticed they said the loudest in the world,lol,not by far, i’ve seen single DD9515’s louder than that, my DD 9512 is doing 133.7, the loudest in the world is recorded at 185 db and change, and yours was on an AC meter, which is something like 4 db off,so im louder with a 12 than a bread truck with two jackhammers, wow, sounds like someone got screwed, it was a very clean, very nice install though, i do have to give them that, i think that if they would make the right box and tuning to the right freq. they could a lot better, i mean come on, a single 15 doing 155 on the AC meter and 150 and change on a Term Lab, OUT OF A TRUNK, your guys are getting spanked, i like pimp my ride,but they need to wake up. and they need a term lab if they are going to meter cars.

I just took a look at the old Internet and sure enough they have Bio-Pimped the Gubernator’s car. Funny thing is, a little less than a year ago my boss signed me up for an interview with PMR because he knew I wanted to convert my 1969 VW Bus to biodiesel. When I first tried out for PMR and told them I wanted to run my car on biodiesel and Straight Vegetable Oil (SVO), the producer told me, “Dude, I think that’s a myth.” How awesome is that. So I told him all about biodiesel and how you can run it in any diesel engine without alteration and how great it is for the environment. I showed him books and gave them a brief 15-minute mini-lecture all about biodiesel, which is on tape somewhere in the MTV PMR audition vault. Three interviews later……and I never heard from them again.
Well, well, well, I see what they were up to. Don’t get me wrong, I think it is great (even flattering) that they took my idea and used it on such a high profile figure as the Governor of California (pronounced Cal-E-fornia), but I wish they had kept me in the loop. Then I watched the episode and it isn’t even the Governor’s car that you pimped. The guy who’s car they did pimp, didn’t even know what biodiesel is, and I think that hurts the most. In his pre-interview he doesn’t mention it, nor even know it exists, and frankly he isn’t that entertaining. Meanwhile, I stood there and told them all about how a 1969 VW Bus running on Biodiesel was my dream and would be one of the best things ever to happen to me, and they go and use my idea for some guy who is most likely just going to put regular diesel in it anyways! I’m trying everything not to use expletives here. The car they bio-pimp is a 1965 Impala, so the whole maybe they wanted to use a more modern car idea is out the window. Then they decide to put a V-6 diesel engine designed for a truck into this “bio-pimped” ride, which makes me even more upset. Why would you chose a gas guzzling engine to replace a gas guzzling engine if you are trying to make an eco-friendly car? Why wouldn’t you put a TDI engine or one of Mercedes’ new diesel engines in it, both of these options are not only the most fuel-efficient diesel engines, but also they are the cleanest burning to begin with! They basically created a diesel engine car that will get 20 mpg and called it “environmentally friendly” when they could have increased the mpg to 40 mpg.
Not only that, but I suggested putting in a two tank system, one with biodiesel in it and the other with SVO (Straight Vegetable Oil). When you have a two tank system such as this, you warm up and cool down the engine using biodiesel (to avoid carbon build up) and run the car on SVO for most of the trip making the car that much more environmentally friendly. I would have also told them to contact Joshua Tickell (author of “From the Fryer to the Fuel Tank” and “Biodiesel America”) as well as Greg Pahl (author of “Biodiesel: Growing a New Energy Economy”) two of the brightest minds in the biodiesel industry. They could have done a small segment about how easy it is to make your own biodiesel and how many biodiesel users actually recycle used oil from local fast-food restaurants. Third, I’m pretty sure they just used my PMR application and interview as their source for information, because they didn’t bring anything new to the table. I wish I had a copy of that application and interview so I could see just how much they used. Oh yeah, except for the greenhouse emissions fact that Arnold completely gets wrong. In the episode, Arnold tells the audience that Biodiesel cuts down on greenhouse gases by 40%-50%, when in reality Biodiesel reduces greenhouse emissions by 78%. They didn’t use any of my solar panel, or bamboo ideas. It was my understanding that PMR was a show that really would go over the top with themes and really make a point. I figured their “Bio-Pimp” would be so full of environmentally friendly features it would just be ridiculous. Well do not fear my friends, they certainly didn’t make it ridiculous. Fourth, they barely talk about biodiesel at all. During a 30-minute show, I would say they devote 4 minutes to biodiesel and it’s benefits, the same amount of time devoted to misinforming the audience about hemp and stereotyping it as a THC filled, smokable pothead’s cotton. If I wanted this type of misinformation I would listen to a speech by our President. Then Arnold admits that he just recently signed a bill into law to make hemp illegal to grow in California despite its environmentally friendly qualities. Here is another great fact that was left out, you are NOT legally allowed to buy a new diesel engine car in the state of California due to outdated emission’s laws. Talk about ironic. When I buy my diesel engine car before returning to California, I am going to have to purchase and register it in Colorado, this also isn’t legal. It will be interesting to see if our Governor, who is so excited about alternative fuel vehicles, will actually make them legal in his state? Something tells me Xzibit and the crew didn’t do that much research. It would have been nice had MTV had the ethics to use my idea, on my car, but hey that’s life. I think I am most disapointed with MTV’s failure to educating the public about bio-friendly cars. It was a bittersweet moment reading about and watching the PMR episode since my poor 1969 Bus is currently not running and certainly not bio-pimped, but I guess I should just feel proud that I inspired a group of people to steal my idea and get the word out to millions of viewers about biodiesel.

Hi X, I love your show, You guys do great quality work. I have always wondered why you guys only pimp the rides of young people. I understand some of the marketable concepts but wouldn’t it be nice to get a new market of older people as well. I am 52 and have been a single parent for 23 years and have 4 kids and 6 grands,we are all pretty close and even hang out together. I have a 1995 Rivera that is black w/ burgandy interrior and chrome rims. Its not that bad, but it does need painting,I just put another engine in and my son put a little wood grain trim a while back but I would love to see the full potential of this car. If you could not pimp my ride I would love to see some of your ideas of a concept of this car. Please let me know with feedback.

Hi mtv pimp my ride guys wassup love the sho. However, I do have a car for your season finale. Check this out my boy friend owns a 1975 BMW with under 60,000 miles, but sad to say its located right now on the tiny island of st.kitts in the caribbean whereas we live in new york city. It’s really a beauty goin to the wild grass. Wish you could really pimp this reide as it would be a superb idea,imagine filming the car been shipped from the islands from the bushes where it is dying… then all the way to the USA to the perfect surgeons,that’s why I thought season finale. Hey, Pimp my ride.I have watched some of yalls tv shows, and i love the work that yall do it is incredable, so i would like to know how i can get my sisters ride pimped. She has 1986 toyota pickup. It belonged to her dad, and he left it to her when he died. It isnt in the worst condition, but it isnt in the best either. She has a lil girl which is 8 months old today. Her pickup has no aircondtioning or heater in it. Her husband is in Iraq right now, and when he gets home they r going to Houston, and she will have no way to get around while he is at work. She helps others out as much as she can, and her dad rigged a lot of stuff under the hood, her husband tried to fix it before he left to Iraq, but once he replaced one thing another would go out, and there is no way they could get it fixed by thierselfs. Please mtv pimp my sisters ride.

hello,pimp my ride i would love to no how cant i get my car pimp.i have a 92 crown victoria,v-8,re-build transmission,two back windows that really doesnt go down at all,one back door dont open. the driver door is falling apart,my leather sits are gross my interior is really bad,i really dont have the time and money to fix this car that it means alot to me.it was a gift to me from one of my family members………..thanku for your time

How does one apply to get thier ride pimped?
I live in Las Vegas & drive 1994 jeep, a home made converted right hand drive…it’s really kinda ghetto, I even still have the other steering wheel still hooked up they’re conected with a big fan belt! I’m even afraid to clean off the engine incase that’s whats holding it in. From a distance it looks good, just don’t get close! So you see I really need to know how to get my ride pimped!

Well I’m not sure this will get me anywhere but here goes, short n sweet. My fiance is in LOVE with his 96 Ford Bronco. He works very hard at keeping me happy and also helps his widowed mother and younger brother. If his father was still alive the work that needs to be done, would be getting done. However thats not the case- the case is we are getting ready to finally have a baby after 6yrs together, he works at least 10 hours a day 5 days a week tattooing, and to top it all off, half of his mothers house just burned down. Yes I am whining- but I am pregnant and I am good at it!! I know a million people want and need this but he deserves this more than anyone I know, he is the most giving, patient man I have EVER met- almost to a fault. Besides my mother always says “closed mouth don’t eat” so I am givin a holla!! Thanks for the space!!

Our son’s car, 1992 Chysler New Yorker has become community property in our family.he hit a deer while driving in Mississippi.The car is shot and he will have to trade it for a bike his first year at Stanford.
It would be great surpriise to pimp his ride while his off playing football.

Please pimp my son’s van. Short story - he overcame a serious addiction to crystal meth and has turned his life around 180 degrees. He is working at a tire shop to support his four children and he is a great “dad”. He hauls his kids around in a slightly beat up 89 Dodge Ram van without complaint. Having it pimped would represent his turn around from drugs and a life of petty crime to support his habit. He is a faithful fan of your show and has gotten me hooked on it too. I know you get 1000’s of requests to have rides pimped so I thought I’d plead the case for my son. I haven’t told him that I’m doing this so it would be a total surprise. He is happy just driving a vehicle that will hold his four children safely, that is legally registered and has insurance on it and he bought it with money he earned. Please pimp his ride.

Hello, my friend has a -1967 -Mercury! It doesn’t have much of an interior, no radio and is overall bad on the inside. He shares one older car with his family and uses his Mercury when he has to. He took very good care of it, but the age of the car did its thing. Please mtv, let me know how we could get on a show to pimp his ride!!!

Hello Pimp My Ride Crew,
My name is Adrene and I am a single mom of four boys whom are embarassed with our 98 Dodge Neon that has been in more accidents than an unwanted pregnancy. My boys are so embarassed they have me to park away from the front door of their school functions. They are so embarassed that they would walk far, far ahead so no one would associate them with our poorly damaged car. They always talk about putting my car in the contest for pimp my ride, but neither of them knew how to do it. I have watched the show on numerous occasions and I saw the website and decided that I would try to ask you guys to please come and rescue us and pimp our ride. On several occasions I tried to make the necessary repairs on a limited income, however this does not minimize their embarassment. Being a single mom who just finished paying off this car, I do not have the necessary funds to continue putting the time, money or energy into it. However, I feel really bad for my boys, but I can only hope that you would save us all by pimping their moms’ ride. They continue to say, “mom we are going to pimp your ride”, but they do not have a job to help in the matter. So, pimp my ride crew could you come and help a single mom out that has four boys that would really love a pimped out ride? Your show gives me hope that there is someone out there that cares enough about the public to aid in their cause to eliminate all the stress that comes from an unpimped out ride. Thank you in advance for the opportunity to at least ask, “could you come and pimp out my moms’ 98 Dodge Neon, that’s a true eye sore?” I would be very blessed and honored to have you pimp out my ride, Adrene.

Hi! pimp my ride I wanted to know as well as others on here how I could get my car pimped out. My grandfather died a few years ago and only left us with his old beat up convertible that he loved so much.
Its the only car that we have for me and him to share and with all the places we both have to go doesnt quite do the job. The car takes a good 15 minutes to start each time we try to use it becomes a huge pain. One of the T tops are missing as well and we can only drive it when it’s nice out, becoming a huge inconvenience. The paint is also all chipped up and the inside is a bit of a well mess. The radio doesnt work along with the air conditioning and the conditioning of the whole car looks and running isn’t too great at all. My grandfather ment a lot to me and my father and the one thing that he left us I wish could mean more than a beat up old broken down car. MTV PLEASE PIMP MY RIDE! it would mean so much to me but even more to my father and all he does for my family I would like to give one meaningfull thing back to him.

I’m writting to you because my finance is such a good man and a hard worker, I haven,t been able to work and help out for over two years do to medical reason, but my finance Rob Gradner has never once complain and has done everything he can to support us, Our old car broke down and we had to buy one out of the junk yard because we could not afford an new one, his managed to keep it running (barely)
and in the last year its been nothing but a money pitt, but we can’t afford to buy another and now it’s falling apart around him but he never misses a day work, and in the last 5 months he hasn’t had day off, but he alway come home with a smile and tells me i’m worth it. Pimp my ride he’s the one who is worth a million, and i can tell you he never quits and never complains. he really desire

Xzibit, whats going on, One thing that i haven’t seen that would be real fly is an East Coast Edition of Pimp my Ride, because when i tell my friends that i wonder if you would come to the east coast, they all say, i doubt it, he only pimps rides on the west coast, and i don’t believe thats true, I know that you have thought about it, so lets make it happen, i’m down if you are. Let me tell you a little about my car, I have a 1986 Oldsmobile Delta 88, it was given to me by an older friend of the family before she passed away, and she drove it when she was well, but when she got sick the car sat for 2 years and all the plugs and wires are all cracked up and old so i have electrical tape around them to keep them together, I don’t wash it too often because my paint starts chipping at the sight of a wash, I think the transmission is bad on it, it slips out of gear every so often,my vinyl roof looks like it has been mauled by a tiger, or something, my drivers side mirror won’t stay where i set it so i have a piece of cardboard holding it in place, my radio/cassette player changes stations on its own, then it might go back to the station it was set on, I think the shocks are bad, when i stop it bounces like it has hydraulics, but of course it doesn’t. It has low miles under 75,000 miles, because she barely drove it, and i want to keep it, because of who gave it to me, but i would like to get it PIMPED. Its my only car so i have to drive it to work and everywhere else i go, I see a lot of cars like it, and they look at mines like its a big joke, which it is, but maybe we can make the joke on them, so holla back xzibit, and lets see what we can do about this. REMEMBER= SPECIAL EDITION OF PIMP MY RIDE, EASTCOAST EDITION. See how it sounds, real good, okay I look forward to hearing from you, and the best part of this thing is I’m in Richmond the heart of the east coast. See u soon. Tell the guys I know they have great ideas in there head for this car, because i love there work, its real creative, and they to me are the best in the business, so Hook it up. Peace.

I mean U all did some of these shows over 3 years ago and I want to see how the Rides are doing now after all these years.

Hey Pimp My Ride Crew and Guys at G.A.S. I have an Idea to put on the rides they pimp out. They are always putting monitors everywhere people on the outside can see them. My favorite is Xs’ Idea of putting them in the hedrests of the back row of seats. Here is the Idea, Put a FM trasmitter on the car so the people can also hear what is playing.

hey,
I’m from Medford, Wisconsin and I pretty much have the worst car in town and I NEED MY CAR PIMPED! Its a Buick Centurey…pretty much sucks. the gas gage doesnt work, the breaks doesnt work, the hood/truck doesnt open,the mirrors are broke, the left blinker light is unavaible, the headlights are smashed out, (let alone not to mention the rust) there are a few wholes in the side of my car and sometimes it shuts off (usualy when you put it in reverse) The gas tank leaks, the AC and heat is unavaible, the tires are bald, the alinement is off, the exhaust fell off and the muffler (DONT HAVE ONE!) I dont exactly have the kind of money or time to put into my car and let alone its somewhat embarrasing and not very safe so please mtv pimp my ride!

hello Pimp My Ride. My boyfriend and I are living here in Belgium. He has this old english car from 1955. I know it´s quite funny to have a car that runs 80 kmh maximum,now that everything is fast. And the first time I saw his car, I can´t help myself. I laughed out loud when I saw what´s inside. Or should I say nothing is inside.You will not see anything good in your eyes. I was thinking that I offended him but he said he is really happy with that car and he had been waiting for so long to get an old timer car. He is really fascinated to it.I want to help him and do something about it. It will be a big surprise for him if i could put his car in Pimp My Ride.How can I do that?

Hi MTV pimp My Ride hi My name is Nick i’m 6 my grandma is helping me wright this i have a lil sister and the best mom in the hole world she does everthing for me and my lil sister and never get’s to do anything for herself she is always scared her car is going to brake down when me and my sister are in it. She Loves Me and My lil sister and has given up everything for us. she loves your show and i thought it would be a cool thing if she could get her car pimped i would love to do anything for my mom she does everything for me and my sister it would be grate to see her happy just like she makes me and my sister.
