hi! I didn’t see where I could submit a vote for STG but I wanted to leave a comment in support of them. I have seen their shows a few times, and they have a great energy and awesome dynamic, and can really involve a crowd. You feel like you’re part of their show. They are a first rate band, and they deserve to win. xoxo me

shiny toy guns are the most amazing band in the world. they have a unique sound that other bands would die for. i’ve seen their show once and have been a fan since forever. they deserve to win this more then any other band. they work hard and play shows every night. they care about their fans and thats why their fans care about them. we love you stg. forever. xoxoxo.

Shiny Toy Guns is an AMAZING band. I saw them live back in January. They have an incredible live show. One of the best I’ve seen, even if I was blinded by those LED lights for a few minutes.
I love their lyrics, their vocals, their music, their look, everything about them. The only thing I don’t like is that I didn’t discover them until last fall.
I love these guys. SO bummed about being out of town for their Summerfest show. xP

Shiny Toy Guns = Best band ever. I love them so much its weird. haha I watched them perform with Clear Static and Kill Hannah. They put on the best performance that i have ever seen. YOU NEED TO VOTE FOR THEM!! They appreciate our support. LET’S HEAR IT FOR STG!!

Hi! well, actually, i love all of the evanescence’s videos, and this new one, it’s quite different from the others. I mean, as Lithium turned out to be so similar to a mixture of “Bring Me To Life” and “Going Under”, i sorry, but i think so, but in this case is completely new.
I think, Amy Lee seems to be inclosed or within her own mind, and all of the members of band too, but on their own minds.
She tries to scape from that “little thing” that is tormenting her.
Finally, the band run into in a particular moment, when they are completely confused because of their thoughts.

i think EV will win not just because i like them because many people do and they desevre it. Amy has the most beautiful voice i have ever heard she became my idol for many reasons i was havin a hard time with myself. but like wise i wanna create music as beautifully as she does im hopin to become a singer/songwriter and pianist just like her . one of my goals is to meet her in person. so hopefully everybody sees the inspriation that i see from her vote for EV (hey LP is ok too but i love EV) *some people say that i look like her hehe* U ROX AMY AND THE GUYS JOHN TERRY WILL i hope i got that right lol

This is going to sound really weird, but its the first time I’m on this site and I am so confused! I got an e-mail about EV’s Sweet Sacrifice being in the battle and I wanted to show my support since I love their music. But where the heck do I vote for them??? I left a comment but I can’t find the voting page or the band’s video…help!

Amy Lee is right, the fear that they could lose is only in our minds. There’s no way Evanescence can lose this. They rock freakin’ hard! Sweet Sacrifice is one of the best songs on The Open Door! I saw them in Nashville and they killed it! Go Evanescence!

ok i love Evanescence, dont get me wrong. but Linkin Park deserves to win! they’ve been working on this album since 2004 and what year is it now? 2007! so obviously they’ve been working really hard on it and what do you do? you vote for Evanescence who’s already got their spotlight for this year. i think Linkin Park should get their spotlight because their the most amazing and hardworking band in the business. if you didnt vote for them, then obviously you dont know what real music is. linkin park has every right to win. they have been working on their album for years. they need the support and recognition so they can come back knowing that they have fans that still love them. i myself had been a fan since i was 7 years old and i’m 13 and i still love them. linkin park is the best band ever so vote for them.

Linkin park back with a bang and with an awesome theme about the destruction of the world because of nuclear war. This is one great band living on earth and living for the earth. The modern Planeteers to make this human race realise What the hell they have done to this beautiful world.
Making man realise the extent of his own cruelities done to the living beings with whom we share this earth.
Hats off to these musicians who still give us a hope of making the earth a better place to live.

Evanescence has my vote! This band totally rocks.. anybody in doubt needs to see them perform live… They give the audience everything that they’ve got.. They love to perform and they love their fans!! Amy is beautiful and she rocks harder than anyone I’ve ever seen!!
Evanescence is the Real Deal!! The Hartford Show was Awesome!! The new videos from the Open Door are unbelievably creative and artistic and are another example of their superior talent! Sweet Sacrifice wins hands down!!Thank you Ev!!

Evanescence is amazing, absolutly amazing. The Sweet Sacrifice video couldn’t of been done any better, its beautiful if you ask me. Amy Lee has the most amazing voice in the whole intire world, hearing her sing really high notes just gives you chills up the spine and makes me really wish i could do that too =] but i saw them live in october, most amazing night of my life. And their lyrics, my god, just simply amazing. Evanescence deserves to win, they’ve earned it. <3

I think that Evanescence should win because their sound is different, and Amy Lee has a great voice. She has a large range, from a deep alto to a high soprano. Plus, she doesn’t ever show too much skin, unlike a lot of other celebrities. Sweet Sacrifice is a great song, with a great video, off of my favorite band’s album. Hope they win!

I feel that Evanescence should win this because they have truly grown as a band over the past years and you can totally see it in this video. The quality of this video is so amazing, it is protrayed as a dream or nightmare. If I had a nightmare like that I would never want to wake up!! This is such a rock’n video and Evanescence does rock out at all of their performances!! I do believe that “we’re all a little insane” and we like it that way!! Go Evanescence!! Keep up the awesome work! And don’t worry, we’ll NEVER forget your name!!

Evanescence is the best band ever! I really admire the band and their passion for music.. I love Amy’s voice cuz she can sing both low and high notes perfectly.. Despite of the band’s fame and glory, they remained rooted to the ground and continues to move thousands of struggling individuals, especially the young people, who has difficulty searching for their own place in the society.

Hey MTV, put Evanescence on number ONE! AMy Lee and the band have inspired me since I was 11 years old. I grew up in a horrible family and had a most depressiing life. Her lyrics and their music got me through so many days where I never thought I could go. Because of Amy Lees most angelic voice I have been inspired to sing and write songs and poetry myself.

I think that Evanescence’s Sweet Sacrifice will win because it deserves to win. It is all about passion and an experience in life, and how you can move on from a bad experience. Amy has an amazing voice, and people know that. Plus, I just like it a lot more than the other music video.

This is definitely a contest between LP and Ev! Both of these bands have a big, visceral sound that’s hard to ignore. LP’s video encompasses the failures, the greed, the hatred, the self-destruction and the ignorance of humanity as a whole. Wouldn’t it be nice to wipe away what we’ve done and start over fresh? I can’t wait to buy their new album! Evanescence’s Sweet Sacrifice focus on the inner life of humanity and the craziness that each of us holds within. While LP’s What I’ve Done evokes a desire to go out and make the world a better place, Sweet Sacrifice turns the focus inward to our own failures, desires, hurts, and pain. It makes me want to work on my own emotional health! These are two of my absolute favorite bands but only one can come out on top. The videos are both emotional but Sweet Sacrifice is a work of art and for that Ev deserves this win.

I have to go for Ev on this one. This video is like none i’ve ever seen. I think the closest thing to it is “I want you” by savage gareden. Evanescence is a band of it’s own league amazing both live and on video. I’ve been a fan since ‘98 and I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon. Sweet sacrifice is going to be a hit!
