Dear Hater,
The videos actually work fine on a Macintosh. You can go to http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_osx.dmg to download the latest player.

I would love it if you guys would play these Clinic,of montreal, the good the bad & the queen…etc videos.PLEASE.Remember when the second line by CLINIC was the sub theme? Play their videos please i mean these bands spend money on promotional videos so they can get exposure on places that play music videos i.e. mtv2.I absolutly love the show and will never stop watching it

I’m loving the new site. Still wish Jimmy boy was hosting but this is definitely the 2nd best alternative.

I am a real fan of Subterranean, and I hate the fact I am now cut off just cause I’m Canadian. The “deal” your execs made to give us MTV Canada is no deal at all, all the shows suck and our regulatory body forces you to use 70% canadian content, is there any way I can still get to see your show, or even clips? Please help!!!!
Ken

Can you please put a list of upcoming guests in the sidebar of the Subterranean blog? Thanks!

Hi everyone. Thanks for all the great feedback on the blog. Keep it coming.
Anonymous – We love the diversity of the show as well. And we love the fact that the show turns you on to new artists. What are some of your favorites that we have aired?
Ken – I’m sorry you can no longer view “Subterranean” in Canada. Might I suggest Satellite Television? Perhaps you could pick us up then!
B. Miller - I am passing your suggestion on to the blog administrators. I think that would be worthwhile info as well.

Hi MTV,
Actually like HBO, ESPN, Showtime or MTV, it’s all cut off at the border. So we get MTVCanada, without subterranean. Could you at least podcast it?
March 28th, 2007 at 10:22 am
Ken - I am passing your problem along to both our technical teams, and the folks over at Subterranean. I hate knowing there are eager Canadians trying to get their fix, and there is no where for them to go…Thanks for the great feedback…I’ll let you know if there is something we can do.

I really want to help promote Subterranean over on my site (www.newdarkages.net), but without knowing who is going to be on the show the upcoming week until like Friday (or after it’s already aired), it is making it increasingly difficult. Can you please put a list of upcoming guests in the sidebar of the Subterranean blog? Thanks!

Check out an amazing video by Atlantic Record’s new artist Great Glass Elevator. The song is “Drunk On Another Planet”…here is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBoNXBuuGaQ .
The singer of the band(who did this video)also won the “Make A Music Video” contest for Say Anything’s “Alive With The Glory Of Love”.

i thought MTV was a progresive tv station, that is always after the new music styles. BUT I GUESS I WAS WRONG. i haven’t seen one item, clip or news on balkan beat on mtv.
what up MTV? Open your eyes, and play what people want to hear.

Hey… how about making it easy to find the playlists for a particular show?
June 4th, 2007 at 12:21 am
In the two weeks since I last checked the blog you apparently hired some new writers or just loosened up on the style manual. Regardless, it’s now a pleasure to read and doesn’t strained. Keep it up.

Sloppy sloppy sloppy! Once again you played a mislabeled video - this time a live Ozzy Osbourne performance was entitled “Central and Control” - the new Grizzy Bear video. What is an Ozzy song even doing on Subterranean in the first place?
This is not the first time I’ve seen the wrong video played on Sub. It is so sad that no one at MTV seems to care about this one little oasis of current, thoughtful and creative music videos - at least no one in the tape room putting together these shows seems to care.
And what happened to the interviews in the basement w/ Jim?
This show should be two hours long and treated with more respect!

Blazing metal hellfire hails Headbangers Blog! I am scripting to you with a request/submission to your “Indecipherable Logo Of The Day”I just, personally myself, discovered the Indecipherable Logo portion of your blog as well as I haven’t the knowledge if you take submissions from bands themselves, however, this particular band logo is relentlessly and absolutely one of the most gorgeously intriguing and originally rendered masterpieces ever drawn! I wholeheartedly send you in the direction of http://www.myspace.com/prophetisade to witness the Ossuary Insane band Logo from midwestern death/thrash olde school headbangers of all places… Minnesota! So, if you take submissions for “Indecipherable logo Of The Day” I highly suggest taking a moment to lay your eyes upon it’s delightful rendition without disappointment unconditionally so(No pentagrams or inverted crosses to spoil it’s beauty either). Thank you kindly for your time and Horns up 4ever… Death/Thrash metal Eternal.
With sincerest regards… Prophet/Ossuary Insane 2007

So like, I’m really curious about the band that plays in the backround when Subterranean shows upcoming band tour dates. The vid shows people bouncing in bed and like jumping up and freezing motion in the air. Who is that? I’ve been trying to find out for ever.
Thanks
